Operation and Maintenance Services

D² Environmental Services personnel have more than 20 years experience in the operation of sanitary and industrial wastewater treatment facilities. D² provides operational services for municipal, industrial and privately owned facilities.
Service contracts include routine visits to the treatment plant by a licensed operator to perform a broad scope of services including:

• Biological and/or physical-chemical treatment process monitoring for quality effluent treatment
• Preventative maintenance for equipment
• Mechanical and electrical repairs
• Effluent sampling and analysis
• Preparation of Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMR) for submittal to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Services (PADEP) in accordance with permit requirements
• Pump station maintenance
• System Upgrades

Turnkey Design and Installation

D² Environmental Services provides complete turnkey services for design and installation of package sewage treatment plants and pump stations, from planning stage through design, permitting, installation, start-up and contract operations.

D² Environmental Services designs, permits, installs and operates industrial wastewater facilities, applying the basic biological principals of sanitary wastewater treatment along with physical/chemical design elements such as activated carbon, air strippers, neutralization and flocculation. These are applied for removal of volatile organic contaminants, suspended solids, emulsified and free oil, heavy metals, color and ammonia-nitrogen.

D² also applies this knowledge and expertise for the planning and design of pretreatment facilities as required in many industrial applications.
